.Open Membership

Please become a part of this important community, and be among the first certified professionals in Integrative Health & Addiction - as The CIHA is the first organization in the world focused on highlighting the importance of Integrative Health & Addiction work. Membership in The CIHA includes a specialized certification (see below), acknowledging professionals who have endured the rigor of training in an addiction specialty, building in a practice and identity that incorporates complementary or mind/body practices. Scroll down to view the benefits of memberships and learn about the certification types. We would be fortunate to have you among our esteemed membership.

Membership in The CIHA is offered as a open system for all applicants who qualify, as a way to address the cost barriers often associated with seeking certification and connecting with a professional association. This is due to our status and mission as a low-profit, social benefit corporation (L3C) and our mission to minimize barriers for all people struggling with addiction to receive integrative healthcare.

An optional donation of any amount is appreciated when applying for Lifetime Membership/Certification. A one time donation of between $50-$300 USD will help sustain our mission by helping to pay for current web hosting services, outreach, and by working toward developing a better system for our members and for public visitors. However, donations are not mandatory for applying and joining The CIHA as a certified member.
